9. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be available on our website. We will notify you of major changes where required by law or contract.
10. Payment Terms, Final Payment Deadline & Revisions
10.1 40/60 Payment Plan (Deposit + Final Payment)
If the Client chooses the 40/60 payment plan (40% deposit up front and 60% on preview), the 40% deposit must be paid before work begins. When UseCodify provides the preview of the completed website, UseCodify will issue a final payment link for the remaining 60%.
If the Client does not pay the remaining 60% within 1.5 weeks (10 days) from the date the final payment link is sent, UseCodify may cancel the project. In the event of cancellation under this clause, the initial 40% deposit is non-refundable, as it covers developer time and work performed up to that point.
10.2 Revisions (Included & Paid)
Whether the Client chooses full upfront payment or the 40/60 plan, the Client is entitled to two (2) complimentary revision rounds after UseCodify presents the preview. If the Client approves the preview “as-is” on first presentation, those two complimentary revisions will remain available for the Client to request later. Any revision requests beyond the included two rounds will be treated as paid services and must be purchased separately.
10.3 Revision Scope Limit
Revisions covered under section 10.2 are limited to changes affecting no more than twenty-five per cent (25%) of the website’s content (measured by pages, sections, or equivalent scope). Revision requests that would modify more than 25% of the site are likely to be considered a redesign and will be treated as a separate paid engagement (with additional fees and timelines).
10.4 General
All paid revisions require prior written approval and agreement on scope and price. UseCodify reserves the right to determine whether a requested change qualifies as a complimentary revision under this policy or as a redesign requiring a separate agreement.
